Deloitte Nigeria, one of the big four accounting firms, is looking for experienced tax professionals. The candidates must be natural and want to pursue career growth. The individuals should be theirself and should have a minimum of 4 years of experience. 

Deloitte Job Description

A tax professional with experience in taxation and tax regulation including transfer pricing. The right candidate(s) will join their Tax & Regulatory Service unit.

Responsibilities

• Apply profound technical know-how in the provision of tax solutions. 
• Aids multinational companies with their complex tax issues. 
• Show command of national and international tax regulations. 
• Ability to manage considerable tax engagement for the firm and the relevant tax authority. 
• Able to work with a group of tax experts in various tax jurisdictions. 

Required Skills Set

To be eligible, the candidate must have the following skill set: 

Business Tax: 

• Specialized in tax services including corporate income and transaction tax compliance, and advisory. 
• Have profound knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (most especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
• Project management
• Team management
• Relationship management

Transfer Pricing: 

• Technical expertise in transfer pricing services. 
• Knowledge of various tools for benchmark studies. 
• Ability to prepare OECD-compliant three-tier documentation reports
• Lead transfer pricing audits with clients and regulators
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Team management
• Project management
• Relationship management

Deloitte Specific Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher national diploma (HND) in any discipline. He or she must possess a minimum of second-class upper or upper-credit division, respectively. 
• A minimum of five credits in O’Level in one sitting. And must pass Mathematics and English language. 
• Four years minimum experience is required for the role. 
• Any CITN/ICAN/ACCA qualification
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Good understanding of the various industries ranging from consumer, energy, financial services, and telecommunications; or demonstrable specialist knowledge of any industries
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good working capital management, submission of timesheets as appropriate, understanding timelines, development of templates for specific tasks management of client relationships
• Good working professional relationship with the regulatory authorities 
• Admirable professional outlook
